Cameron, N.C. — The body of a man was found in Harnett County Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Joe Bernold Cockrum, 56, of Cameron, was found dead inside a vehicle parked along Wild Plum Lane, near the Lee County line, authorities said.
The was no sign of foul play, but Cockrum's body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy, authorities said.
