Raleigh, N.C. — Investigators are looking for the cause of a fire at a north Raleigh apartment complex.
The fire started just after 6 p.m. Saturday at the Governors Point Apartments in building 3211 on Stream Side Road.
Of the building's 20 units, 18 were damaged by either fire, smoke or water. Ten units were burned so badly that residents had to seek shelter elsewhere.
The Red Cross set up a tent on the property to assist fire victims.
Most of the heavy damage was confined to the back side of the building.
There were no reports of injuries, but one family's dog was missing.
The cause of the fire was not released Saturday night.
