Rocky Mount, N.C. — A toddler was transported to Pitt Memorial Hospital after being shot in the head, police said.
It happened Saturday morning at 829 South Tillery St. in Rocky Mount.
The 2-year-old was shot inside the home just before 11 a.m., police said.
The toddler was listed in critical condition Saturday night.
No additional information was provided by police.
