Raleigh, N.C. — Firefighters battled a fire Wednesday evening near the N.C. State campus.
The fire started just before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Stanhope Avenue and Hillsborough Street. The blaze was contained to a shed behind a house.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire. The blaze caused heavy smoke that could be seen for several miles.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire was not released.
