Three men were facing charges in connection with a drug bust in Sanford.

Thomas Beltran Ayala, 32, Auturo Celis Elizalde, 27, and Hector Javier Rivera-Lomas, 28, were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, Butler said.

The men were held Monday night under $1 million secured bond.

these busts keep happening in Sanford, because Lee County has a great sheriff who is doing his job and getting these criminals off the streets!!!!!

Singlelensreflex - STOP IT - YOU'RE KILLING ME =)

He was shot by another cop, pay attention.

No, the "do gooders" up here wanted to make sure it was ILLEGAL, so we had an election (as we do up here about any law we want changed) and it was recriminalized. Our legislature, in its wisdom, said OK, we will assign a penalty for it....as long as you possess less than a HALF POUND it is pretty much like a traffic ticket!! We also have the STRONGEST PRIVACY clause in our Constitution in the nation!! Our right to privacy in our own homes outweighs law enforcements right to burst our door down for almost anything!! Drugs are not prosecuted in most cases if they are for private consumption. Where most of the drug bust are made here are in traffic stops, and the trooper smells marijuana and cites the driver. It is not much of a penalty, but it is a citation none the less...LOL It makes for a MUCH BETTER relationship between our citizens and our state Troopers!! They like it better, as do we!

Hey, YukonJohn, is it still legal in Alaska to grow and posess as much mariuana as a person can consume in one year?
