Fayetteville, N.C. — More charges were filed Monday against a teen accused of robbing an 81-year-old woman in Fayetteville, authorities said.
Dustin Shane Mantz, 17, of 162 Sally Hill Circle, was arrested Friday in Parkton. He was charged with first-degree burglary, larceny of a motor vehicle, robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon.
The charges stem from a Jan. 18 incident in which three people forced their way into a Gainey Road home and took a 1996 Nissan pickup and an undisclosed amount of money.
The woman was not harmed, authorities said.
Addition charges filed against Mantz on Monday include two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of stolen property. Those charges are in connection with the theft of two county-owned transport vans from a group home, authorities said.
Authorities said they continue to search for two other people wanted in the Jan. 18 robbery. One forced his way at gunpoint into the woman's home, while the other waited outside in a late-model Cadillac, authorities said.
