Durham, N.C. — Durham County leaders will outline their goals for 2008 in the annual State of the County address set for Monday night.
Ellen Reckhow, chairwoman of the Durham County Board of Commissioners, said she will highlight recent accomplishments by the county government.
Among her goals for the new year are tackling the county's poverty and dropout rates and building a stronger economy, Reckhow said.
The State of the County address will take place in the Administration Building, 200 E. Main St., at 7 p.m.
