Sedalia, N.C. — A 17-year-old boy died after he and his stepbrother were ejected from a car during an accident near Greensboro Sunday, the state Highway Patrol confirmed.
Speed appears to have been a factor in the single-vehicle wreck on Sedalia Road in Sedalia, about 4 miles east of Greensboro, troopers said.
Around 6:15 p.m., Gregory Dickery II, 20, drove a Ford Mustang at 60 mph while going around a curve in a 45 mph zone, troopers said. The Mustang ran off the road, hit a ditch and overturned.
Dickey and a backseat passenger, Devin Leggett, 17, were ejected from the car. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Leggett was transported to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, where he was pronounced dead.
Dickey and the other two passengers, Keeley Dillon, 18, and Casey Tucker, 17, remained at Moses Cone on Monday morning.
Officials said no charges have been filed in the accident but they were still investigating.
Alcohol does not appear to have been involved, troopers said.

Not that that hasn’t happened 4 billion times since then (since people are extremely selfish on the roads and don't know proper road etiquette) But I am a lot more prepared now. (:
Be considerate, let people over, and if you want to drive the exact posted speed limit the fast lane is not for you. The sign that says "Slower Drivers Keep Right" that sign is for you. (:
It's better to be late, then not make it at all. Be careful!

I got my license when I was 18 and didn’t even have to take the class. All I had to do is memorize the signs and drove w/ someone from the DMV down the street for less than 5 minutes and I was a certified NC driver! Scary, huh? I was a terrible driver for the first few months. I can remember a time on the highway a car completely cut me off and I was trying to merge on the highway and I had to slam on breaks. It was very frightening to say the least. Not that that hasn’t happened 4 billion times since th
