Raleigh, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Raleigh that happened Friday night.
Authorities said someone opened fire at the intersection of South State Street and East Lenoir Street around 8 p.m.
The victim was shot in the abdomen and taken to WakeMed. It was unclear who the victim was or what his or her medical condition was Friday evening.
Police have not released the name of the shooter or said whether they have made an arrest in the case.
