State to Review Sex Allegations Against Robeson Employees

print friendly

The state Attorney General's Office will decide whether to file charges against three Robeson County Sheriff’s Office employees who have been accused of having sex with a woman in their custody.

Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said the employees no longer work for his department. A bailiff and a jailer were fired, and a second bailiff retired, he said. The names of the men haven't been released.

The State Bureau of Investigation has handled the case since October, when the allegations were brought to the sheriff's office, authorities said.

Why does this not surprise me after the arrests and convictions from "Operation Tarnished Badge" in Robeson Co?

Sheriff Sealey is a wonderful Sheriff and kudos to him for keeping the department clean! You do a wonderful job Kenneth and hope you stay Sheriff for a very long time! Robeson County needs you.
