Site SearchEfland, N.C. — The family of an Orange County man who was beaten to death last fall has offered a reward for the arrest and conviction of his killer.
Charles Sidney Lloyd, 47, was found beaten in his home, at 2225 Bushy Cook Road in Efland, on the morning of Sept. 24. He died at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Lloyd's family on Monday posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff's Office have had few leads in the case.
Anyone with information about Lloyd's death is asked to call Sgt. Jimmy Earp or Investigator Archie Daniel of the sheriff's office at 919-644-3050.
