Fayetteville Police Try to ID Shooting Victim

Police were trying Monday to identify a man who was critically wounded when he was shot in the face.

The man was found early Sunday at the entrance to the Hollywood Heights Subdivision on Cliffdale Road.

The man is in his 20s and has tattoos with the names "James + Candice" and "Phyllis," police said. He also was wearing a black, beaded necklace and cross.

Anyone with information about the man's identity or the shooting is asked to call Fayetteville police.
