Crime Stoppers has offered a reward after Chapel Hill police on Tuesday charged five men in connection with an armed robbery at an apartment complex.

Police believe Sean Lee Crawford-Brown, 18, of Juniper Court in Carrboro, committed the robbery at the Chapel Ridge apartment complex on North Heritage Circle around 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2007.

Crawford-Brown faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony and simple assault.

Police also laid charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and robbery against Mario Alejandro Lopez, 19, of 501 Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro, and Andrew Garry Bright, 17, of 1103 Sourwood Circle in Chapel Hill.

Warrants were also filed earlier against Kionne Ivin Mclaughlin, 18, of University Drive in Durham, and Calvin Demond Smith-Taylor, 18, of Vineyard Street in Durham. Both are charged with aiding and abetting armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony.

None of the five suspects is in police custody.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these individuals was asked to please call either the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,200 for information that leads to arrest.
