Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police have identified a man killed early Sunday morning.
The body of Demetrius Leon Christmas, 23, was found at East Jones Street and Idlewild Avenue around 1:15 a.m., officers said.
The slaying marked Raleigh's fourth homicide for the year.
Anyone with information that might assist the investigation is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department's Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
