Durham, N.C. — A truck carrying paving supplies overturned on the Alston Avenue ramp to southbound Durham Freeway Friday morning.
The truck turned on its side and spilled 30 to 50 gallons of what authorities believe was tar. The ramp was blocked from around 7:30 a.m.
Hazardous materials teams responded to the accident, and clean-up was completed by around 10:15 a.m.
