Maxton, N.C. — Human remains found last week in Robeson County have been identified, authorities said Wednesday.
Lisa Hohman, 16, of Maxton, disappeared in May 2005. The remains were found by several men late on New Year's Day in some woods not far from where Hohman lived.
The cause of death hasn't been determined, but authorities said they are treating the case as a homicide.
