e-mail print friendly

Three Rosewood High School students have been arrested on drug distribution charges after investigators discovered attention-deficit disorder pills being sold at the school, authorities said.

A Rosewood High student became ill last Friday after ingesting a narcotic and had to be treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital, authorities said. Investigators learned the boy had taken Vyvanse, an ADD medication.

A 15-year-old student with a prescription for the medication had brought his pills to school and gave or sold them to other students, who resold them or handed them out, authorities said.

Three students were charged by juvenile petitions with a total of 14 counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance and selling or delivering controlled substances.
