Wake Forest, N.C. — Police on Monday were investigating a weekend break-in at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club, 325 S. Wingate St.
Someone forced entry into the club through a rear window and ransacked the building, smashing glass, scattering files and turning over a vending machine, police said. The damage was valued at more than $7,500, and an undisclosed amount of cash and other items were stolen, police said.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Wake Forest Police Department at 919-554-6150.
