Franklinton — An attorney for the town of Franklinton said he plans to meet with commissioners on Dec. 18 about an independent consultant following a fatal police chase that left three people dead.
Once hired, that person will review the pursuit policy and see if any additional training is needed.
Two sisters and the suspect who was fleeing police died last weekend when a Franklinton officer chased the suspect into Granville County.
