A woman suffered minor injuries after she was struck by a vehicle Thursday night.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A woman suffered minor injuries after she was struck by a vehicle Thursday night.

The accident occurred at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Ashe Avenue and Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.

Investigators said Bruce Kelvin Tedder, 42, was driving when his vehicle ran off the road and struck Amanda Elaine Bicom walking on the sidewalk.

The 28-year-old was treated and released from the hospital. Tedder was charged with several infractions, including driving while intoxicated.
