Princeton, N.C. — A Wayne County school bus carrying children was involved in an accident Tuesday morning, but there were no reports of injuries.
The bus, which was carrying about eight children to Rosewood Elementary School, was backing up in a driveway and turning around when a minivan rear-ended the bus, Wayne County Public Schools spokesman Ken Derksen said.
The driver of the minivan, whose name was not immediately available, was charged in the accident.
Derksen said another bus picked up the students within 10 minutes of the accident and continued the route.
