Fayetteville, N.C. — A 42-year-old woman was found dead Saturday morning in Fayetteville.
Police said they found Maria Jacnita Pena laying on a dirt path between N. McPherson Church Road and Wagoner Drive just after 9 a.m. Foul play was suspected, police said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Pena lived in the Cambridge Arms Apartments. Police have not arrested anyone, but said they did talk to a person of interest.
