Wake — A marathon in Raleigh will cause some traffic delays around town Sunday morning.
The City of Oaks Marathon and Half Marathon are scheduled to begin Sunday at 7 a.m. The course showcases Raleigh sites, from the State Capital to Umstead State Park.
Expect road closures through western Raleigh, including Hillsborough Street from downtown to the Fairgrounds, sections of Ebenezer Church Road, Graylyn Road and Edwards Mill Road.
