Henderson, N.C. — The City Council voted Monday to name city engineer Frank Frazier as acting city manager while a contract is worked out with an unidentified candidate for interim manager.
Frazier's appointment is effective Wednesday, following the departure of City Manager Jerry Moss. Moss turned in his resignation a few days after the Oct. 9 municipal election in which several City Council members were defeated.
Officials said they didn't have permission to identify the person under consideration to become the interim manager.
