Durham police are searching for man and woman who used credit cards stolen from a woman's purse at a local restaurant.

The victim reported her wallet stolen after eating at the Cracker Barrel restaurant on Hillsborough Street on Sept. 17. She said she felt someone bump her chair and later realized her wallet was missing.

The thieves used the credit cards at Sam's Club, Target, Kroger and Home Depot and to make cash withdrawals, police said.

Police were looking for a middle-aged black male with short salt-and-pepper hair and a mustache. He had a medium build and was wearing a brown shirt and tan pants.

The second suspect is a tall, slender black female in her late 20s or early 30s. She had shoulder-length hair pulled back behind her ears and she was wearing black pants, a blue and black sleeveless sweater and long, dangly earrings.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator A.H. Holland Jr. at 919-560-4440, ext. 254 or Crime Stoppers at 916-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.
