Fayetteville, N.C. — A motorcyclist died Tuesday after a car pulled into his path, according to Fayetteville police.
Preliminary information showed that a person driving a Chevrolet Cavalier pulled out from Glen Rock Drive into the path of the Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling on Santa Fe toward Yadkin Road at about 12:30 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle, Billy P. Carwile, 59, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car, Leslie R. Neasbitt, 18, did not require medical attention, police said.
No charges have been filed. The Traffic Unit will investigate the accident, police said.
