Raeford, N.C. — Ambulances took a dozen high school students to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Thursday evening after an accident involving two Hoke County school buses.
The buses, Nos. 101 and 173, apparently had a rear-end collision at a stoplight at U.S. Highway 401 and Oakdale Gin Road, according to officials.
Police were investigating, but people at the scene said the students did not appear to be seriously hurt.
