Cary, N.C. — The Town of Cary will temporarily close the Cary Dog Park in Robert V. Godbold Park, 2050 NW Maynard Road, at 8 a.m. Thursday.
The park will reopen at 5 p.m. Friday. The closing is necessary to remove several dead trees that officials believe could pose a danger to those enjoying the park.
The playground at Sears Farm Road Park, 5077 Sears Farm Road, will also be closed for maintenance Aug. 27-31. Town staff will be replacing playground surface materials and repairing sand box timbers.
