Goldsboro, N.C. — Officials are asking for the public's help in finding a sex offender who may be in Goldsboro or elsewhere in Wayne County.

Jamie Lafayette Stevens, 42, is wanted by the N.C. Division of Community Corrections for violating his probation. In March, Stevens was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Stevens is described as a black male, measuring 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
