The Wilson Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred recently.

On July 27, police were dispatched to 3751 Ward Blvd. in reference to a burglary. Officers met with the alleged victim and learned that four black males forcefully entered her home and ransacked her apartment.

The four men were described as follows:

Man #1: a black male with a dark complexion standing about 5’03” to 5’05” with a thin to medium build and possibly wearing a black hat, a dark colored sweatshirt and baggy jeans.

Man #2: a heavy-set black male with a light complexion and a close hair cut; wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He was also described as being between 5’02” and 5’03” and possibly between 175-180 lbs.

Man #3: a short black male with a dark complexion and “corn rolls,” wearing a black shirt. This subject was said to be between 4’11” and 5” and weighed about 140 lbs.

Man #4: a heavy set black male with a dark complexion and short hair.

During the burglary, the men took the victim’s cell phone and threatened her with a gun, police said.

On July 20, Wilson Police responded to 3904 Gloucester Drive in reference to a first-degree burglary call.

The alleged victim described the suspect as a black man with freckles around his eyes, and he was wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans. The suspect was armed with a handgun and used force to get into the house, police said.
