A “Justice 4 Jenna” concert is scheduled for Saturday night to benefit the family of Jenna Nielsen.

Nielsen, 22, of Fuquay-Varina, was restocking newspaper vending machines on June 14 when she was stabbed to death outside a Lake Wheeler Road convenience store. She was eight months pregnant with her third child at the time of her death.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted for questioning.

Pivot and Transient, two Raleigh bands, and Agents of the Sun out of Baltimore will perform at Volume 11 Tavern, at 658 Maywood Ave. in Raleigh, at 8 p.m. Saturday.

“Myself and the rest of the band wanted to know how we could help,” said Brian Kelly, lead singer for Pivot. “This incident happened in our back yard, so to speak. ... This is the best way we can think of to show our support in this time, not only for family and friends, but for the community.”

Neilsen's father, Kevin Blaine, said the concert should help the family keep the case in the public's eye as police continue to investigate.

Police have no suspects in the case, but have released a composite photo of a person of interest wanted for questioning.

He is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, standing about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. He had black hair pulled into a ponytail and wore a dark-colored sleeveless shirt and baggy denim shorts. Police believe he may be Hispanic.

Anyone with information about the case should call the Raleigh Police Department's tip line at 919-227-6220.

We need justice for Jenna, Michelle and Janet. Their babies also deserve justice. If you haven't already, please sign the petition so the killers of these youngs mothers will have to pay for the crime of killing their unborn baby. If you have signed Thank you so much, We are over 5500 now and growing, EVERY signature is a voice that demands justice.

Wonderful that these bands are donating their talent to help in finding the person who murdered Jenna. Poor Michelle Young. HER husband, JASON YOUNG, has done nothing to help solve Michelle's murder. So sad, so sad. Justice for Jenna and Michelle.

I think this Hispanic is back in Mexico. Caught the first bus out. If he was in this area he would have come sneaking out from under the rock by now. He's so far gone to some other state or back over the border.

lilwil- Again every one has been cleared to the fact of someone she knew. She'd only lived here 6 mts so she knew few people being as she was a stay at home mom except for the 3-4 hr paper run she made every morning. If you would go to one of the functions that has been going on here you would see that people around her loved her and this was a random act of savagery done by a thug who had nothing to offer human society.
