Raleigh, N.C. — The family of a slain pregnant woman will hold a vigil Monday night for her unborn child.
Jenna Nielsen, 22, was found stabbed to death on June 4 behind a Raleigh convenience store. Nielsen was eight months pregnant with her third son, whom she called Ethen.
Family and friends will honor the child with a candlelight ceremony, starting at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Bicentennial Mall across from the Legislative Building in downtown Raleigh.
The public is invited to attend.
