The race for the Democratic presidential nomination is a three-way dead heat among North Carolina voters, according to a new poll.
U.S. Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama each garnered 27 percent of the response in a new Public Policy Polling survey, while former U.S. Sen. John Edwards was the favorite of 26 percent of the respondents. Eleven percent of those polled were undecided, while 10 percent said they would vote for another candidate.
On the Republican side, former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson continues to lead the race, with 34 percent support. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani's support fell for the second month in a row, to 15 percent, while former House Speaker Newt Gingrich garnered 13 percent support. Another 21 percent of GOP voters said they were still undecided.
Public Policy Polling, a Raleigh group that represents many Democratic clients, surveyed 629 likely Democratic primary voters and 583 likely Republican primary voters on Monday. The Democratic and Republican surveys have margins of error of 3.8 percent and 4 percent, respectively.

As far as my numbers, I pulled them directly from the Library of Congress/Thomas last year. The link I had shows an average per year no longer works, but, I do have the link below:
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/108/states/nc/
It is listed by congress, the 108th, and shows Edwards clearly had 45.2% attendance for both sessions in 2003 & 2004. Edwards missed votes on partial-birth abortion, budget, homeland security, terrorism, pension funding, alternative energy, forest restoration, and, intelligence reform.
The facts speak for themselves. There is no media conspiracy. The only conspiracy here is trying to portray John Edwards as a person of caring, integrity and morals.
