Durham, N.C. — Jury deliberations began Wednesday morning in the re-trial of Todd Boggess.
Boggess is accused of kidnapping and killing 16-year-old Danny Pence in 1995. He was tried, convicted and sentenced to death, but the conviction was overturned due to a technicality.
This time, prosecutors are not seeking the death sentence.
