Wake County to launch upgraded website

print friendly

Wake County will launch the upgraded version of its website Tuesday morning.

The launch marks the first upgrade to the WakeGOV website since 2009, a county spokesman said. The new design is based on feedback from Wake County residents.

"Our new site is a reflection of the latest technology advances combined with the feedback of our users," County Manager David Cooke said.

The site is also compatible with mobile devices.

The website upgraded will be presented at the Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday afternoon. The presentation can be viewed online at 2 p.m. at Wake County Board of Commissioner's website.

In other news, custodial crews vacuum the courthouse. Film at eleven.

I've used their website to pay my property tax. It always looked outdated but it saved me from writing out a check.

Upgrades are usually worse than what was there. MS Word for example.

OMG....Wake County has upgraded their website.....are they also going to upgrade Wake County Judicial System????????? CHANGE is sometimes good.....and I think a change it needed.....I am sure this will be interesting.....to say the very least.

I am still dealing with the aftermath of the dysfunctional upgrade of the city of Raleigh website. The people that managed that upgrade should be fired if they haven't been already.

Please tell me the Wake Co. upgrade is not managed by the same people that did the Raleigh upgrade.
