Raleigh, N.C. — Three people were injured Friday morning in a chain-reaction wreck involving three cars on Interstate 40 West near Raleigh-Durham International Airport, authorities said.
Troopers responding to the wreck about 3 a.m. discovered that a car had run into the back of another car. The first car was also hit by a third vehicle, police said. Authorities closed several lanes on I-40 for about two hours.
The names and conditions of the people involved in the wreck were not released, but police said one of the drivers would face charges.
No other information was released.
