Sexual assault reported in Spring Lake

Spring Lake, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's investigators are investigating a report of sexual assault that happened Friday in Spring Lake.

Authorities said Tuesday that it happened in the 600 block of West Manchester Road near Chastity's Place and Pyrates Sports Bar.

They did not release any other information.

Anyone who might have information about the case is urged to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.

I had to go to work the next morning from which it happened and there was 3 sheriffs in the parking lot of Chasitys Place. Yesterday I seen them there again.
