Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police closed all northbound lanes of Capital Boulevard near Interstate 440 for about three hours Friday morning due to a wreck.
The wreck, which happened around 4:30 a.m., also forced authorities to close one southbound lane of Capital Boulevard.
No injuries were reported, police said, but the car struck a utility pole and knocked out traffic cameras and stoplights near Highwoods Boulevard.
Raleigh police diverted northbound traffic around the wreck during the first half of the morning commute, but no significant backups were reported in either direction.
