Cumberland County authorities issued warrants early Thursday for two men wanted in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred during a card game at a home on Charmain Street.

According to authorities, Dominique Hope, 24, of 5605 Hibiscus Drive, and Maurice General, 31, will face charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and felony conspiracy.

Investigators said Hope began arguing with Antoinias Lee Milton, 26, after losing a hand. During the argument, General allegedly fired gunshots into the ground, hitting Milton in the knee. Milton was in the hospital Thursday with non-life threatening injuries.

After the shooting, police said, General assaulted Milton and took several hundred dollars in cash. Milton told police that General and Hope attempted to force him in the trunk of a car but were unsuccessful.

Investigators said General and Hope left the house in a beige Chevy Monte Carlo. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500.

More of Fayettevilles finest. maybe a new police chief can take the necessary steps to reduce this kind of violence. That is if the NAACP and all its supporters lets them.

Send them both to prison for 50 years at least they will be off the streets and can do no harm to anyone else. Behind bars will be another story...they can learn whatever there.

He should of folded, never try and bluf someone with a gun.

All of that over a card game? This world gets funnier and funnier.

Violent lads, find them and lock them up! Simple solution to their violence...
