One of three men wounded Thursday night in a shooting in an apartment complex in Fayetteville has died, police said.

Fayetteville police on Friday identified the victim as Samuel Milton Jr., 22.

The shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the complex at Aftonshire Drive and Tangora Lane, when an argument among three people escalated into gunfire, police said.

All three were armed and suffered gunshot wounds.

Officers responding to 911 calls found Milton, while two other victims – Kourtney Terrell Reed, 19, and Antoine Morrell Willis, 24, were dropped off at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center by an unidentified person.

Reed and Willis were in stable condition Friday afternoon. Authorities have not said whether either man faces any charges.

I'm so glad that everyone thinks Fayetteville is such a horrible place. There are certain areas that give Fayetteville a bad name but for the most part it is a pretty safe area. Sorry it isn't Raleighwood but Raleigh and the Triangle area have their fare share of crime as well. If you have negative feedback about Fayetteville then don't read the articles posted about it.

When reading headlines like this, you gotta remember one thing... this is Fayetteville we're talking about. Nothing to see here folks, time to move along now.
