Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man wasn't injured Wednesday afternoon after he lost control of his car, crashed through a fence and onto the grounds of the Raleigh Ampitheater downtown.
Police said Devon James Hart, 24, was turning right onto Dawson Street from Cabarrus Street when he crossed two lanes of traffic, ran off the road, struck a tree and crashed his Mazda at the ampitheater.
Hart, who was the only person in the car, told police that when he turned right, the car started traveling left. He said he wasn't able to stop, according to a wreck report.
No other vehicles were involved.
No one was injured.
