Why was there never a follow-up story to the 10-mile afternoon rush-hour delay on 40 east on Wed. the 8th? Is there anywhere to find out what happened? There was not even a mention of what in particular (other than "a wreck") caused many people to sit in stopped traffic for hours and the one car remaining on the scene to have been literally flattened by the impact from behind that pushed it into whatever was in front. A lot of people wanted to know what happened, especially to those poor people involved, yet WRAL provided nothing...yet regularly gives stories like this one ("no injuries reported in 5-car Raleigh crash"). Very remiss reporting of last Wednesday's story that affected many hundreds of people, in my opinion!
