Man shot in arm outside Durham motel

Durham police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a motel on Highway 55 Sunday night.

A man was shot in the arm outside Econo Lodge shortly after 8 p.m. He was taken to Duke University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

Then Raleigh is fast becoming its twin. They have hit the headlines as much if not more than Durham lately with shootings, stabbing and sexual assaults. Love the ignorance of Durham bashers who are blind to rising crime in all the counties. Hope this person recovers well from their injuries.

There are several safe hotels in Durham, however none of them are on hwy 55.
