Fayetteville man surrenders on statutory rape charge

Fayetteville, N.C. — A Fayetteville man wanted for statutory rape surrendered to police Wednesday evening.

Zayrain Carpenter, 37, was arrested on statutory sex offense, crimes against nature and taking indecent liberties with a child in connection with a case involving a 14-year-old girl.

He was in the Cumberland County County Detention Center Thursday morning under a $77,500 bond.

I heard the minor made all this up so he surrendered so they can get the charges dropped and straighten this out.

Guess he needed his shoes, wallet and car keys back. He left them at the scene of the crime. Cut his hair as well. Tied to clean up his image. Still a toad to me...
