  • Just In: A 26-year-old Florida man who may have known Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot and killed by the FBI early Wednesday, according to Orlando CBS affiliate WKMG. CBS News reporter John Miller said the FBI was trying to question Ibragim Todashev at his apartment prior to the shooting.

Fayetteville man wanted for statutory rape

Fayetteville, N.C. — A Fayetteville man is wanted by police for the statutory rape of a 14-year-old.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Zayrain Carpenter, 37, who has been charged with statutory sex offense, crimes against nature and taking indecent liberties with a child.

Carpenter was last seen in the area of Cissna Drive without his shoes, wallet, keys or cell phone.

He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks.

Police believe he may be staying in the Cumberland-Hoke County area.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1851 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483- 8477.

That's pretty irrelevant, don't you think? He's old enough to be her father. He knows better, even if she does not. Now his lapse in judgement will get him a nice spot on the sex offender registry for the rest of his life. Maybe he'll stick to women his own age next time.

Thats exactly what sounds like happened. Oh if they would of just caught him on the street. That my friends would be a deterrent to thinking with the wrong head crimes.

Sounds like the brother got caught rather short. Left his keys, wallet, cell phone behind. I bet that was a scene. If it had been my kid, they'd be carrying out the front door.
