What a sad & devastating end to this childs life... My thoughts & prayers are with her Family who desparately need them right now. R.I.P.Sweet Girl ...

To the family and friends: I am sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Why are you people talking about pit bulls?? Sad, sad story here....a family is devastated...and you feel this is the time to jump on your soapbox?

Was answering halfpint who mentioned she has a pit bull. Not trying to offend you, angelienna. Read my whole post; dogs are only as aggressive as they are trained to be, but strangers may provoke them and they will defend themselves and their family. Small children do not know danger and want to touch dogs, cats, anything in their world...so it is best not to test the dog's friendliness around small, not of your household, children. Anyway, toddlers are small, fast, and exploratory. Dogs are friendly and sweet to their family members. Im heading out to find some rose-colored glasses now.

Gnathostomata - then your story should say DOGS may love their family.... no need to call out a breed... or better yet, next time please use Schnauzers or Yorkie's. Thanks!
