Helmet cam? That is funny. Now you will be able to see the drivers of those evil cars doubling over in laughter at the bicycle boy uniforms that you guys wear. That is probably causing most of the near misses you claim. Be careful out there my friend.

To dirkdiggler, yes the law does say as far right as pratical, this allows for avoiding obsticales. If cyclist continue to misinterpret this, North Carolina may pass a cyclist far right law as 42 other states have done, which is far more restrictive. The slow moving vehicle rule requires cyclist to use the right lane on a multi lane road, and to stay as far right as practicable on a two lane road. This allows for riding two abreast on multi lane roads. The far right law does not.

Ever think maybe that actually HAPPENS? If you rode a bike on the road, you'd know this. It's kind of hard to mistake as an honest accident when the driver is tossing garbage out the window and flipping the bird as they try to run you into the ditch. And for what? Riding a bike where it's legal to ride a bike?

If you don't think this is truly happening, YOU are the one who needs to get a grip. We've had all kinds of stuff thrown at us, including a full half gallon of milk jug.

I am tired of following the rules of the road, only to have angry motorists intentionally try to hurt me. This is why I am now equipped with a helmet cam. Hard to deny video evidence.

Never said ALL drivers do this. Thankfully, it's a small % of arrogant, inconsiderate drivers out there. Probably the same % of inconsiderate cyclists.

Anyone who would buzz a living human being intentionally, just for the sake of being mean doesn't show a lot of sense either. About as much sense as the people who throw bottles out their car windows at cyclists. What is the purpose of this behavior? Where do you people get off behaving in this manner? What did we do to you, other than cost you a few seconds of your precious time? Last I checked, there were plenty of things wasting my time, but I didn't feel the need to put anyone's life in danger because of it. Riding a bike on the road shouldn't equate to instant danger. If drivers had an ounce of courtesy, there wouldn't be a problem.

And for the cyclists who DON'T obey the laws,they deserve what's coming to them. I don't deserve to be run off the road because you had a bad encounter with a bad cyclist.
