I love all the Durham bashers posting today. Its kind of funny seeing Raleigh lately has been in the headlines for shootings/robbery and rape more so than Durham. I guess people are too stuck on Durham and not seeing the whole state of multiple counties lately. Been living in Durham 23 yrs never been a victim of crime here. Had my car broken into twice in Raleigh on Glenwood and buddy robbed by gunpoint by the Raleigh Convention center...I feel safer in Durham

"Love where I live. At least I can sit on my porch without worry about being shot and killed."

So can I! And I sit on my porch in the heart of Durham all the time, day or night.

but Durham is the only place in NC that gets stereotyped as inherently violent

So that is the very reason why things needs to be change there. Love where I live. At least I can sit on my porch without worry about being shot and killed.

sick of reading WRAL and seeing bigoted comments about Durham from people who've never lived here.

Then you have the right to leave this anytime you please. No one is going to stop or miss you. comment stands.

No charmcclainlovesdogs2---Durham police should not begin violating the Fourth Amendment en masse because people like you say so. People get shot and assaulted everywhere, but Durham is the only place in NC that gets stereotyped as inherently violent (gee---I wonder why?). I'm sick of reading WRAL and seeing bigoted comments about Durham from people who've never lived here.
