Robber hits BB&T in Brier Creek

Raleigh police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a BB&T Bank branch Tuesday morning.

The masked, armed suspect walked into the bank at 8501 Brier Creek Parkway shortly after 9:30 a.m., approached a teller and demanded money. The man, who was captured on security video, fled after the teller complied.

Police described the man as 6 feet tall, wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. He fled in a turquoise or aqua Honda Civic.

Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP or go to the CrimeStoppers Web site at  www.raleighcrimestoppers.org for instructions on reporting a tip on line or by text message.

This guy will get caught... You'll be surprised at all the security footage they look at ... (Parking lots, other establishments nearby, highway cameras...) Just a matter of time.

Do you mind giving a race as you can't tell a thing from the picture..Here we are in the year 2012....able to talk and communicate around the world...to the moon...Jupiter and beyond..yet these cameras produce the worst quality of anything I have ever seen!! Get with it Banks...Spend money...get some good cameras...you will definitely help the economy...

"Why haven't i heard of a bank with glass separation being robbed?? Maybe cause it works!"

Tell that to the employees at the State College BB&T on Hillsborough St. They've been robbed many times and are behind a glass cage.
