Hillsborough, N.C. — Two wrecks early Sunday afternoon temporarily closed Interstate 85 North between Hillsborough and Durham.
Transportation officials said one of two northbound lanes had been reopened. At one point, both lanes were closed after both wrecks near mile marker 168, about two miles from U.S. Highway 70.
State troopers reported multiple injuries from the wrecks, but no more details were immediately available.
At least a tractor-trailer, minivan and SUV were involved in the wrecks.
